Inclusion & Adaptability in Hiring

With our warehouse’s recent move to Portland, we found ourselves with a bunch of new positions to fill, and decided we wanted to make sure our job opportunities were being offered to a diverse range of people. Individuals with disabilities can have a particularly hard time finding open and accepting employment opportunities, so in addition to typical job postings we wanted to make sure to increase awareness of our openings within this community. A New Illustrator - Jake Giddens joins Cognitive Surplus

We are super stoked to announce that a new illustrator has joined our team! (Well, actually, he joined our team a while back, but we're finally getting the blog post up now.) The Mutation Sale - Seconds & Imperfects

Usually the process of replication happens without fault, but sometimes, errors arise that are beyond the acceptable standard deviation. Rather than tossing these items out and filling up the landfill, we're making them available to earth-conscious customers who love deals! The Great Migration. Moving from Southern Oregon to Portland

From the beginning of 2016 we had our warehouse in Southern Oregon and our design studio up in Portland where Geoff and I live. We set it up like this because warehouse space is more affordable in Southern Oregon, and we knew some people down there with whom we really wanted to work. For a while the space worked out really well and our landlord let us expand and rent more space as we grew, but this past 2017 holiday season we were squished in there like sardines and there was no more available space to rent.
