I love Cognitive Surplus notebooks. Inform yourself of the exact size you're getting. My handwriting sprawls, so I really appreciate having a little more space than I get with an A5. Same carriability but just a little bigger. The paper is slightly thinner than most journal notebooks. But true to their word, ink does not bleed through. It almost feels like recycled paper, slightly itchy if you fall asleep on it. But your pen or pencil will flow really smoothly and quickly on this paper. Beautiful cover designs, as you can see. I have both lined and dot grid. The dot grid is very faint, in case that matters to you. Some of my best friends have been notebooks, and I highly value Cognitive Surplus notebooks. I have three brands that I will use and I'm beginning to think CS is my favorite.
I bought four of these for my college classes and love them! The paper is nice and they lie flat well making it easy to write and take notes. I'm getting more for my other classes next term. Plus the patterns are all fun and unique!
