This journal did not have a textured cover or the ornate lining like other journals sold here. The look and feel is of less quality. A request to return or exchange is not feasible since shipping is already $10 and the company does not offer free return. Disappointing purchase over all.

This one was more for the color and design, more than anything. It occurs to me that these designs are perfect for curiosity exposure for people who aren't familiar with the discipline itself. Someone may not know about crystallization, but they might look at the color and design and think, "wow, that's cool. What is that?" And it could jump start an interest just like that.
Versatile and durable
I purchased this book to use as a bullet journal. I like the size. It fits comfortably into my work bag so I bring it with me everywhere. I've used it everyday for 6 months and it's held up very well. I plan on repurchasing and highly recommend this hardcover notebook to anyone interested in bullet journaling. I wish it had a pocket in the back but I can live without it.
