I've been using lined journals from the "Experiment" series for a while now, and love them. The paper is smooth and satisfying to write on, with gel ink at least, and doesn't bleed through at all, which is fantastic considering the paper isn't all that thick. These things are thin and casual but durable. Page numbers and a "Contents" page might be a nice touch, but are not a big deal.
