I love Cognitive Surplus notebooks for journaling. The only reason I give it 4-stars is because I primarily use fountain pens and the paper isn't quite fountain-pen friendly so my ink feathers a bit in broader point pens. However, for fine points, it works great and I love the designs and tend to color over the images on the internal cover pages for inspiration when I'm stuck.

So far it's so pretty I've not dared to use it. But I will. I got the dot grid interior and it's nice and faint so I can sketch over it without it showing. I love this book. It's beautifully made.
