Lots of fabulous choices for notebooks
The science notebooks and related items on this website are really amazing . I ordered the geology grab bag and received a great assortment of different notebooks as well as a geology tea towel and then the choice of buying some smaller items also. Previously I had purchased at a local bookstore a few more of these cognitive surplus books including the star chart and phases of the moon. The paper and the cover material are really high quality and I like the fact that you have a choice of grids versus dot versus line patterns for the paper. I recommend everything that this website sells and each time I go there there are new choices.
CanadaGood, but at a cost
I ordered the geologic mystery field pack for my partner's birthday. While the contents of the pack made her happy (she uses the core sample glass as her regular water glass), the cost of the shipping (~$30) and, since we live in Canada, the duties (~$50), almost doubled the total cost of the pack, which was on sale at the time of purchase. I'd love to order more products from Cognitive Surplus, but the shipping costs make it very hard to justify.

This field pack was def worth the money! I received a core sample glass, a print, a tea towel, and a bunch of really snazzy notebooks in various sizes. The designs and photos are beautiful and excellent quality. I bought this to gift most of the items on to my geo professors and i was pleased to find something for everyone in one kit!
