Fill it with your favorite mulled hot cider or cold brew, and even if you don't get around to drinking it for hours, you can expect to find your beverage ready and waiting for you at just the right temperature. The metal cap seals tightly, so it won't leak all over your bag.
Here's how it works: the space between the inner and outer flask wall is evacuated, creating a vacuum (well, a partial vacuum anyway...). In order for heat transfer to take place from the outside world into your cold drink, or from your hot drink to the outside world, it needs nearby molecules to excite. If there aren't many molecules nearby, as is the case in a vacuum, the heat's energy can't easily be passed along, so your drink stays close to the temperature it was when you put it into the flask for a really long time.
Simply stated, vacuums make great thermal insulation!
Great Gift :)
The images are really detailed and beautiful. Great gift for anyone who loves neuroscience!
I purchased 3 of the same type of water bottle, one for me, and my two professors. I love it, they both love it, and we all agree that the detail is amazing. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the water bottle was bigger for how much it cost. It’s a tad on the smaller side. But it’s okay, I still love it!
The brain anatomy flask is STUNNING. The flask is lovely, it keeps my water ice cold for 8+ hours. The diagrams are extremely detailed, and they are slightly raised. the details are slightly shiny. The pictures on the CS website are great, but the detail is just so meticulous on this flask, the print is raised a little, which gives an interesting tactile experience, and it is very shiny making the arteries and veins stand out. if you have a neurology buff this would make the best gift ever, i would lose my mind if I received it. Will be gifting this in the future.
