Great quality notebook and beautiful cover! It makes me want to write in it! I use it To keep track of all my house plants.
I'm just starting to use my first Botany Softcover as a journal. It's a good size, the dot grid is unobtrusive (so sketching remains an option) and the paper weight is just right.
First thing I did was a fountain pen ink test and the paper performed great. No ghosting or bleeding. The cover is beautiful, just as shown. I'll definitely be buying more from Cognitive Surplus!
Realistically, I find whatever I can to write on--receipts, sticky notes, or 50 cent composition books. I'm more likely to spend money on my kids or my classroom than a notebook for myself. These notebooks are perfect size, capture a surprising amount of words, ideas, and poems, and behave well together on the shelf. Right now, the dot-grid is the best solution to my desire to rebel against lines.
This the third softcover dot grid journal I have bought. It’s super easy to carry with me everywhere I go. The pages are thick enough that pens & markers do not bleed through. So happy with it!
