Explore the earliest form of written Chinese over a mug of your favorite brew. Oracle bone script dates back to the late 2nd millennium BC when inscriptions were made in the scapula bones of oxen or turtle shells and then exposed to flames. The pattern of cracks that formed in the bones would then be interpreted to make predictions. We would, however, recommend consulting your weather app or local meteorologist rather than throwing your mug into the fire to determine if rain is coming.
The characters on this earthy-red mug have been been sand-carved by hand into the surface of the mug for a unique tactile feel.
